FISHING LINE RECYCLING
The fishing line recycling program began in 2022. The tubes are emptied twice per year, once in the spring and once in the fall. All hooks and weights are removed and the line is sorted. The line is cut into small pieces and recycled. The Fluorocarbon and Monofilament line is sent to Berkley to be recycled. Berkley is a fishing line recycling company in Iowa.
