Do you like getting your hands dirty, using various hand tools, and working in a team to get the job done? If so Muskoka Conservancy’s Trail Team sounds like the perfect fit for you!

Do you have a love hate relationship with invasives: hate to see them, love to remove them? If you don’t mind using some tools and getting a bit dirty, this role is perfect for you!          

Join us at the Muskoka Conservancy office for a letter folding and envelope stuffing party! We will provide coffee, tea, and baked goods. Our Membership Mail-Outs occur twice annually, once in the spring and once in the fall. 

The Native Plant Sale is an event that occurs once annually in May. It will be held on a Saturday, but volunteers will be primarily needed on the Friday before to assist with preparations.

Community events help us to stay engaged and get some publicity within the community. At these events, we typically have a table set up with information, merchandise items, newsletter, and membership sign ups and other, event dependent items. The purpose is to increase our visibility and answer any questions people might have. 

Join us for clean up days! On these days, volunteers will help MC staff clean up waste left behind on a nature reserve! Earth Day is a standard clean up day but there will be other opportunities available throughout the year as messes arise.

Muskoka Conservancy has a Snake Coverboard Monitoring Transect of 24 boards set up at a Nature Reserve in Gravenhurst. If you love snakes and want to help us learn about what species are found on our protected Nature Reserves, this role is a great fit for you!
