Marcie Anderson - Director
Marcie’s appreciation for Canada’s immense natural spaces stems from her childhood crisscrossing Canada annually with her family, from the Atlantic Coast to B.C.’s mountains. International travel in her professional life, which took her across Europe and Asia, to South America and Mexico, and throughout the U.S., deepened her understanding that we in Canada have an unparalleled opportunity and need to preserve wild spaces.
An Arts graduate of University of Toronto, Marcie enjoyed a long career as a management consultant, working with the leadership teams of companies in a range of industries and cultures. Her work helped her understand the challenging balance required between the need to maintain a healthy economy and the need to manage our natural heritage responsibly.
Marcie enjoys her cottage on Lake Muskoka with a wealth of adult children and young grandchildren. She is committed to helping preserve our wild spaces for the generations to come.
Marcie brings earlier Board experience from the Boards of Seneca College, Young People’s Theatre and Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto.
