Samantha Hastings - Director

Samantha has lived with her family in Muskoka for the last 23 years and shares a great love of the outdoors and nature. She loves to hike, camp, cross country ski, paddle, and most recently, climb. She began her career as an Environmental Planner with Credit Valley Conservation, and spent the last 23 years working with the District of Muskoka. As the Commissioner of Community and Planning Services, she had the privilege of working with fantastic staff, councillors and community members to advance planning, environmental, housing and social services initiatives.

She recently retired and is thrilled to be a director on the Muskoka Conservancy Board, working with another great volunteer and staff team to ensure that Muskoka's natural environment will be enjoyed by future generations.
