How Volunteers Support Muskoka Conservancy
Volunteer Enrollment Coming Soon
Volunteers are at the heart of Muskoka Conservancy. Every year, about 100 volunteers step up to play a hands-on role in protecting the special places we all care about.
Our annual volunteer enrollment is coming up in March!
Please note that even if you are an existing volunteer, you still have to register for the 2026 season.
Some ways you can help
Stewardship & Land Care
- Monitoring conserved properties
- Maintaining trails and signage
- Helping with habitat restoration projects
- Reporting on property conditions as volunteer stewards
Conservation & Citizen Science
- Participating in species counts and biodiversity surveys
- Assisting with conservation research and monitoring
- Supporting invasive species management efforts
Events & Community Outreach
- Helping at community events and nature walks
- Supporting fundraising initiatives
- Acting as ambassadors to share our mission with the community
Behind-the-Scenes Support
- Assisting with administrative tasks
- Serving on committees or the Board
- Providing professional expertise (legal, financial, marketing, etc.)
