Delia Bugada - Conservation Tech

Delia is heading in to her third year of Environmental Science with a major in Ecology at the University of Guelph. After her undergraduate degree she plans to continue on with her schooling and complete her PhD and a future career in environmental science.

During her time this summer in the position of Conservation Technician for Muskoka Conservancy, she's gaining hands-on experience in protecting and restoring local ecosystems, and having the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to the field. 

Delia's lifelong appreciation for environmental stewardship was inspired by growing up immersed in the natural world around her, which fostered a lasting curiosity for the environment and is what makes this role especially meaningful to her.
