Why we do it

  • MC is proud to provide public trails on select Nature Reserves, encouraging access to nature for members of the Muskoka community
  • Ongoing maintenance of the trails is essential to keep them in good condition for hikers, and we need all hands on deck from the Trail team to make that happen
  • When a new Nature Reserve is selected for the establishment of trails we need assistance with the cutting back and blazing of new trails.

*Training on trail maintenance techniques will be provided.
